This cartoon type book is all about young gay men looking for sex and their daily lives. Pictures of guys performing man on man sex, kissing, in their underwear, and fully nude are all erotic and fun to read and look at. I have a small gay comic collection and this book was a nice asset.

Tom Bouden, what can I say, recommend A+++, get this book #2 enjoy the artwork a source of inspiration and again brilliant artwork from this wonderful artist.

I've re-read the book. There is nothing particularly revealing. A somewhat gentle book. Bouden has not lost his ability to draw humorous situations.

Drawing on evidence never before seen in the West-including combat records of early engagements-David Glantz claims that in 1941 the Red Army was poorly trained, inadequately equipped, ineptly organized, and consequently incapable of engaging in large-scale military campaigns and that both Hitler and Stalin knew it. He provides the most complete and convincing study of why the Soviets almost lost the war that summer, dispelling many of the myths about the Red Army that have persisted since the war and soundly refuting Viktor Suvorov's controversial thesis that Stalin was planning a preemptive strike against Germany.

Stumbling Colossus describes the Red Army's command leadership, mobilization and war planning, intelligence activities, and active and reserve combat formations. It includes the first complete Order of Battle of Soviet forces on the eve of the German attack, documents the strength of Soviet armored forces during the war's initial period, and reproduces the first available texts of actual Soviet war plans. It also provides biographical sketches of Soviet officers and tells how Stalin's purges of the late 1930s left the Red Army leadership almost decimated.

At a time when blame for the war in eastern Europe is being laid with a fallen regime, Glantz's book sets the record straight on the Soviet Union's readiness-and willingness-to fight. Boasting an extensive bibliography of Soviet and German sources, Stumbling Colossus is a convincing study that overshadows recent revisionist history and one that no student of World War II can ignore.

About the Author

Paul Knox received his Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Sheffield, England. After teaching in the United Kingdom for several years, he moved to the United States to take a position as professor of urban affairs and planning at Virginia Tech. His teaching centers on urban and regional development, with an emphasis on comparative study. He has written several books on aspects of economic geography, social geography, and urbanization, and he serves on the editorial board of several scientific journals. In 1996 he was appointed to the position of University Distinguished Professor at Virginia Tech, where he currently serves as Senior Fellow for International Advancement, and International Director of the Metropolitan Institute. Paul is the author or co-author of numerous books, including Pearson’s Urbanization 3rd edition and World Regions in Global Context.

 

Sallie Marston received her Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has been a faculty member at the University of Arizona since 1986. Her teaching focuses on the political and cultural aspects of social life, with particular emphasis on sociospatial theory. She is the recipient of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Outstanding Teaching Award. Her teaching focuses on culture, politics, globalization, and methods. She is the author of over 70 journal articles, book chapters, and books and serves on the editorial board of several scientific journals. She is currently a professor in the School of Geography and Development at the University of Arizona. Sallie and Paul is coauthor Pearson’s introductory world regional geography textbook, World Regions in Global Context. In 2013 the Association of American Geographers recognized Sallie with a lifetime achievement award.
